The Byzarre Brothers’ Bucket Man Bonanza?

A detective’s life isn’t always as exciting as it might seem - and that’s why the Byzarre Brothers decide to branch out into another business, with a little help from the Milk Marketing Board. All they need to do is get their hands on some lovely fresh tomatoes. Unfortunately Jake the Frat’s got similar ideas, as he’s after the juicy toms as well. As for the Doom Crew, well they’ve decided to become pizza manufacturers (it’s their way of saying thank you to the industry). All this is further complicated by the arrival of a strange alien on a quest throughout the galaxy to collect all varieties of tomato. So there...

Starring Phil Hayes as Frank Byzarre, Mark Davis as Francis Byzarre, Rob Short as Jake the Frat, Paul Rostance as The Doom Crew and guest-starring Bucket Man. Plot:

The Byzarre Brothers are walking down an ordinary suburban street, with their new beards, when they see a giant flying tomato. it lands nearby and a man with a bucket on his head emerges and asks them if they’ve ever been to a Harvester before. When they can’t help, he goes off in search of people who may be able to.

Jake the Frat wakes up on the floor of his HQ, with a hangover after a Milk Marketing Board Event. After delivering many baboons to Prince, he plans to sell sherbet to South American druglords. Then he’ll take over the world with tomatoes.
The Doom Crew ponder the Harvester question, having also been asked by the Bucket Man - who is probably an alien on an intergalactic quest for tomatoes. The Doom Crew decide to start a pizza manufacturers. Their first task - to put the phone on top of the car.

The Byzarre Borthers are bored, and decide to join the Milk Marketing Board for a bit of milk assessment fun. Frank has the application form, but he's going to have to find cheese and tomatoes to explore cheese and tomato ratios in the local area.
Jake - and his monkey - has got some tomatoes, but has them stolen by John Doom Crew Two. The Bucket Man appears, but mistakes him for Peter Gabriel. His inability to shock that monkey proves his true identity, and the Bucket Man is as red as tomato under his bucket. Shamed by Jake, he pledges to help him seek out the solen toms.

Down at the premises of the Milk Marketing Board, Frank thinks he’ll try on with a sexy chick, unaware that it’s Jake in purple drag. After getting the brush off, he decides to seek the tomatoes from the Doom Crew - but Jake now knows their plan.
Over at the Doom Crew’s house a farcical scenario occurs, involving many doors, tomatoes, red noses and the swapping of several pairs of soiled trousers. It all comes to a head when the Bucket Man takes the tomatoes for himself. It is revealed that he was on a quest to collect every tomato in the cosmos. So that’s why he nicked ‘em.

Notes:

This was another special for Comic Relief, the theme of which for 1993 was distinctly tomato-based. That explains the thematic use of tomatoes. Nothing can explain the constant references to the Milk Marketing Board.

The Doom Crew’s house bears an improbable resemblance to Beverly Hills’ house. A sign of some secret pact bewteen them? Or is it set after her death and they’ve inherited the house? Or had we run out of locations?

This is very short and has virtually no plot. As some of the other films have too much plot this only seems fair.
