Dave Sefton's video of Griffin Close was originally planned as an item on Update. When he got the tapes back to GTV he realised that the microphone lead was faulty and all the interviews were accompanied by a soft buzzing sound. Victory was snatched from the jaws of crap technology when Dave edited the otherwise silent piece to "Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Collins. This musical news style worked so well that he repeated it for his video about High Hall.
